We are located close to the heart of Point Arena at 130 Riverside Drive, but do not have street signage in order to discourage drop-ins. Please be sure to make reservations if you wish to come for a visit or stay in the guest cottage.

Directions

When traveling to Point Arena, relax and take the time to enjoy the views. But remember, pull over for others to pass. There are many pull outs available on the trip.

We are two hours from Santa Rosa, a little over three hours from the Bay Area and four hours from Sacramento, but worth every mile.

Don’t rely completely on your GPS system as it can take you on some very curvy roads. Unless you have traveled them before, avoid Mountain View Road, Skaggs Creek Road and Fish Rock Road. Stick to the highways.

From San Francisco

Take Highway 101 North across the Golden Gate Bridge to Petaluma (Continue via "Off Highway 101 in Petaluma)

From Oakland

Follow I-880 North through Oakland (left lanes) to I-80 Sacramento (right lanes). Follow signs to I-580 exit (right lanes), across the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge to Highway 101 North and continue North to Petaluma.(Continue via "Off Highway 101 in Petaluma)

From the Sacramento Area

Follow I-80 to Vallejo, exiting at Highway 37/Marine World turnoff. Follow Highway 37, turn right on Lakeville Road. Follow Lakeville Road into Petaluma and turn right onto Highway 101 North.(Continue via "Off Highway 101 in Petaluma)

Off Highway 101 in Petaluma

Take the East Washington Street exit. Turn left onto East Washington Street, follow West through Petaluma. Washington Street turns into Bodega Avenue, then Bodega Highway, then Highway 1. Continue on Highway 1 to Bodega Bay. Continue North on Highway 1 through the coastal town of Jenner. At this point, you are approximately halfway there. Come up Highway 1, through Gualala and Anchor Bay. Point Arena is about ten minutes North of Anchor Bay.

From the Santa Rosa Area

Head South on Highway 101 to Highway 116 East at Cotati through Sebastopol, Guerneville and then out to Highway 1 North at Jenner.

From North Santa Rosa, take the River Road exit West toward Guerneville/Russian River through Guerneville to Highway 1 North at Jenner.

From North 101 (Ukiah, Eureka)

It takes approximately two hours to Point Arena from Ukiah. Take Highway 253 West from Highway 101 towards Booneville. Turn Right at Highway 128 and travel approximately thirty miles to Highway 1. Turn South on Highway 1 and drive for about twenty five miles into Point Arena.

Once you get into Point Arena, turn East on Riverside Drive. Head up Riverside less than 1/8 of a mile. Address is 130 Riverside. Look for big 2 story white home on the left and pull into the automatic gated drive. For lodging check ins, come to the front door and ring the bell. For tour check in, pull straight back to the barn. Tour will start at appointed time.
