$10 adult/$5 kids*
*10 and under, including infants
Each session starts with a brief discussion in the tour barn and then hop in our vintage open air Land Rovers and drive out to meet the Giraffe Boys. Guests will be given lettuce to feed the giraffe and opportunities to ask our Animal Care Specialists questions and see these magnificent gentle giants up close.
Additional fun activities include:
Face painting – have your face painted like a giraffe
Education table – we will have a giraffe skull and tail hair for you to see as well as examples of the various food stuffs they eat.
Fill Giraffe Toys – help us out by filling containers for the giraffe with their favorite treats and watch those long tongues in action.
Giraffe Feeding – each participant will be able to feed the giraffe lettuce.
Bring your old electronics to be recycled - We will have a collection box to send to Eco-Cell for recycling. Cell phones, smartphones, MP3 players, tablets, smart watches and digital cameras will be accepted. Recycling your tech helps reduce the demand for minerals mined in sensitive habitats throughout Africa and raises funds for conservation partners. You can learn more at eco-cell.com.

The holiday was established by the Giraffe Conservation Foundation to celebrate the tallest animal in the world on the longest day of the year. Not only is it a worldwide celebration of these amazing and much-loved animals, but an annual event to raise support, create awareness and shed light on the challenges giraffe face in the wild. By supporting World Giraffe Day (WGD), you directly help save giraffe in Africa. With only approximately 117,000 giraffes remaining in the wild, the time is right to act NOW! Currently there are 4 elephants for every 1 giraffe in the wild. Proceeds from our event go to Giraffe Conservation Foundation and Save Giraffe Now to help giraffe in their natural habitat in Africa.
