GCF is involved in and supports giraffe conservation initiatives in 21 African countries. Their work has an impact on over 100 million acres of giraffe habitat and concerns all four species of giraffe. Some of their important work includes translocations, habitat expansion, and collaborative efforts with African governments and local communities.
SGN’s mission is to save giraffes from extinction, so they can live freely and safely in the woodlands and savannas of their native Africa. They focus on giraffe rescues, rewilding, research, supporting anti-poaching rangers, and helping wildlife & people coexist.
GZT is the only organization 100% dedicated towards saving the critically endangered Grevy’s Zebra. They work with the communities of northern Kenya where people coexist with Grevy’s. GZT’s work includes restoring grazing lands, supplemental feeding, water management, education, population monitoring, and so much more.
