Come Prepared
Don’t get left behind! A quick read of the rules below will help you arrive prepared.
Visits are available by reservation only. The credit card on file will be immediately charged unless prior arrangements have been made. Payments for VIP Tours and Giraffe Painting Tours are nonrefundable. Cancellations for Rover Tours and Self-Guided Car Safaris may be made up to 3 days prior for a refund minus a $5 cancellation fee.
It is essential that you arrive on time. Out of respect for the other guests, we will not hold the tour for you, so plan to arrive at least 5 minutes early. If you are late and miss the tour departure, no refunds will be issued.
Tours are held rain, sun, or wind. Unless it is a major Pacific storm, the tour will go on. We are strict on our cancellation policy as we may have turned people down to accept your reservation and hired extra drivers. Please consider the policy when you book. We do not provide refunds for no-shows or cancellations made less than three days before your tour.
Bring a jacket. We are close to the coast where the fog and wind can descend in minutes and become chilly. Comfortable walking shoes are also recommended. Expect some mud during the winter.
Pets are not allowed on B. Bryan Preserve for their safety as well as the safety of our animals. This includes leaving them in your car. Please leave your pets at home.*
Restroom availability is limited. Please plan ahead.
*For the dog people …
We get it. We love dogs too. But it is a violation of USDA rules to allow them on the property where our animals live. It is not safe for your dog or for the creatures we are working so hard to conserve. So we need to be clear—no matter the age, mobility, size, or service status of your dog, they are not allowed on the property. There are no exceptions. Thank you for understanding. 🐾
